1. Residents should prevent anything from falling, being swept or thrown from balconies and windows and may be held liable/responsible for all resultant damage.
2. No object may be hung from balconies or windows, nor placed on ledges.
3. Nothing may be attached to the balcony walls.
4. Cooking devices shall not be used on the balconies.
5. Cleaning of balconies shall be limited to damp mopping.
6. Dust cloths, brooms, mops, etc. may not be shaken or beaten from the balconyies or windows.
7. Residents who plan to be away for an extended period of time must clear their balconies of all items to avoid problems in the event of storms. This is the responsibility of the owner and not the maintenance staff.
8. If owners do not comply, the maintenance staff will bring in the furniture and the owner will be charged a fee of $100 per balcony. This fee does not include return of furniture to balconies.
9. Owners' balconies (railings and glass) will be cleaned twice a year by the maintenance staff. They will follow specified cleaning procedures to insure that the warranty is not voided.
10. Per the PRIVATEER NORTH DOCUMENTS page 40 §18. USE RESTRICTIONS,¶(x) that permit potted plants to be placed on the balconies, all such plant containers shall be placed on stands that minimize contact with the floor of said balcony to limit possible damage due to dampness.
