Unit entry doors leading to the common hallway must remain closed at all times (except for normal ingress or egress) so as to preserve the effectiveness of the hallway a/c system.
ALL FIRE DOORS MUST be kept completely shut or else otherwise the stairwells will be of little use as escape routes in the event of fire.
In case of fire, residents MUST use the stairwells.
