1. 911 is the Emergency telephone number for the Fire Department.
2. Pull the lever down on the fire alarm found in the hallway of the floor where the fire is located and call the Fire Department. These alarms are located on both ends of the west wall of the hallways.
3. Smoke alarms will sound on each floor to alert all occupants in each unit to leave the building as soon as possible.
4. Proceed immediately to ground floor via stairs and out of the building as quickly as possible. DO NOT USE THE ELEVATORS.
5. Identify those residents still in their units to Fire Department personnel.
6. Keep your unit doors to the hallways closed, but not locked.
7. Do not panic Your cooperation is essential.

NOTE: If you are stuck in the elevator during an emergency, use the telephone in the cab for assistance.
