UPDATES TO THE CURRENT PHYSICAL PLANT OF THE PRIVATEER NORTH CONDOMINIUM
Current problems and updates to the Privateer North Physical Plant will be published on this page.
There may be errors and/or omissions in the material provided below. Please advise the webmaster for correction should you find any.
1) The revision to our South elevator is complete.
a)The elevator has been inspected, approved, and is considered safe for use by passengers.
b)The North elevator is currently undergoing revision.
2) removal of the camera system has been strongly suggested:
a) once inside the building, they do nothing to deter the intruder,
b) we have not hired a qualified person to watch the screens 24/7,
c) the concept itself is highly intrusive and suggestive of a prison.
3) As of 1300 hrs 8 May, both poolside doors allow building entry via a unit's code;
there is no longer any reason to prevent door closure nor to interfere with the locking mechanism.
4) Damage to the shrubbery, lawn grass, and sprinkler system affected
by Hurricanes Helene (9/26/24) and Milton (10/10/24)is still being
assessed six months later; it will be repaired/replaced in due time.
4) vide: Privateer North Declaration of Condominium §18 USE RESTRICTIONS ¶(s)
a) Personal property of Unit Owners including bicycles, motorcycles, mopeds, golf carts and similar items
shall be kept in the Condominium Units or enclosed areas for the Condominium Unit except when in use.
b) Stairwells (and the area under the stairs on 1st floor) are Common Property, not to be used by the Unit Owner.
